About Us
Welcome to Mucho Poocho Publishing!
At Mucho Poocho Publishing, we embrace the spirit of storytelling and the art of independent authors. Our company name is more than just a quirky moniker; it's a heartfelt tribute to a cherished memory shared between our founder, Lisa, and her late father, Bill Leader.
The journey of Mucho Poocho began with a move from Pennsylvania to Texas due to Bill's military civil service. Adjusting to a new culture and cuisine, Bill's humorous misunderstanding of "Texan pancakes" (i.e. tortillas) marked the start of an unforgettable family anecdote. As Lisa grew, her connection to the Texan heritage deepened, with her father playfully teaching her the Spanish phrase "Mucho Poocho," mistakenly believing it meant "big dog." This innocent mix-up became a lighthearted way for them to affectionately call each other out when needed, fostering a bond that would endure forever.
In honor of this meaningful memory, Mucho Poocho Publishing was born. We stand as a beacon for independent authors seeking a platform to share their unique stories with the world. Our founder's passion for literature, coupled with her expertise in networking and marketing, drives us to support and elevate talented authors from all walks of life.
We invite you to join us on this literary journey, where creativity knows no bounds, and storytelling reigns supreme. Together, we'll continue the legacy of Mucho Poocho, embracing the power of words to bring joy, inspiration, and connection to readers everywhere.
